One week prior to the programme:

• Confirm multi disciplinary team
• Understand the process
• Understand key issues
• Establish key measures
• Agree outcomes

Day 1

• Introduction to Value Stream Mapping
• Understand symbols
• Discuss current value stream
• Collect data and map current process

Day 2 (and Day 3)

• Complete data collection
• Prepare current state map
• Identify any additional tools required
• Discuss process and identify value adding operations
• Brainstorm potential changes to process

Day 3 (Day 4 and Day 5)

• Continue to brainstorm potential changes to process
• Prepare future state map
• Develop action plan
• Present and discuss findings
