The Centre for International English is an Accredited Centre for the University of Cambridge ESOL English Language Tests. Cambridge ESOL offers the world's leading range of certificates for learners and teachers of English - taken by over 3 million people in 130 countries. They enable entrance to university or college, improve job prospects by benchmarking and certifying progress in English. More than 11,000 employers, universities and government bodies around the world recognise Cambridge ESOL qualifications.
We are the only centre in South Wales to offer the computer-based PET (Preliminary English Testing), FCE (First Certificate in English) and CAE (Cambridge Advanced)
All ESOL tests are booked via the University's Commercial Services (UGCS).
The University of Glamorgan is also accredited to provide the following University of Cambridge ESOL examinations:
- Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE)
- Business English Certificate (BEC)
