Simon Davies
Simon is Head of the Project Management Group with functional responsibility for all Project, Risk, Site and Change Managers and Project Controllers managing three Project Management Offices.
Covering Life Cycle, monitoring, reporting and controlling, processes and procedures using the latest tools and techniques in a changing environment.
Simon has worked within EADS for the past 10 years at Astrium in Stevenage and DCS at Newport introducing PM methodologies. Simon has set up PMO’s at various sites and is now working towards developing a Portfolio, Programme and Project Office (P3MO) at Newport.
Simon will present the issues, challenges and opportunities in moving a large and growing technology company from a silo’d project organisation to a strong matrixed organisation within a short timescale. The presentation will look at the benefits and lessons learned (thus far!) on this continuing journey.
